The winner of Class 525 will receive the Lowan Cup

A trophy will be given to the highest marks in any 12 to 16 year old String class (Strand Music Studio Cup)
A trophy will be given for the highest marks of an item by a Brass Player (Peter Goodman) 16 years and under

A trophy will be given for the highest combined marks of 40p, 41p, 42p (Fenemore Cup)

(time limit 5 minutes) 17 years and under

A trophy will be awarded for the highest combined marks of 531, 532, 533, 534, 536 (J G Marshall Cup)

The winner of Class 537 shall receive the Vining Cup
NOTE: Class 537 may not be entered by any competitor who has won a first place in any previous NPAC vocal competition.

18 to 25 years

(In German; by Schubert, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Wolf, R. Strauss, or Mahler)

The winner of Class 545 shall receive the Elizabeth Maas trophy

The winner of Class 546 shall receive the St Mary’s Choir trophy

Performers should introduce their items and sing them in the language in which they were composed.

Any age

The programme should consist of two contrasting pieces from different periods of musical history i.e. Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century or Contemporary.
The winner of Class 45p shall receive the Charles Begg Trophy
NOTE: This class is an example of expectations of the PACANZ National Competition which will be available for entry 2020 for pianoforte – 2019 is for acoustic instruments only
